Private Suburban School
The Westhill Institute is a private school in the suburbs of Mexico City in an area called "Los Lomos de Chapultapec." It is attended by the children of politicos and other wealthy families. About a third of the student population at Westhill is Mexican. Five percent of the students here are on scholarships. The student/teacher ratio at Westhill is about 16 to 1.
Instruction here is bilingual. Children receive content area instruction in both English and Spanish. Additionally, most of the children study third and even fourth languages.
